Product Description

Our Breeze Mesh Bivy is the perfect one-person ultralight shelter when paired with a lightweight backpacking tarp, such as our Sanctuary Siltarp (sold separately). The mesh canopy provides a layer of defense against pesky insects and critters, while the 9-inch tub style floor will keep you and your gear dry during even the wettest storms. While the sides are mesh, the front and back are made from solid rip-stop nylon, providing good wind protection and privacy.

Use just the Breeze Mesh Bivy on clear days for great ventilation and an incredible way to experience a night in the outdoors. When inclement weather approaches, pitch the Sanctuary Siltarp over the bivy to provide the needed protection from wind and rain. The Breeze Mesh Bivy and our tapered 10 x 7/5 foot Sanctuary Siltarp combine to just 23 ounces, making this combo one of the best values in ultralight shelters.

Please note that additional supports will be needed to pitch the Breeze Mesh Bivy. Use nearby trees, our adjustable tarp poles (sold separately), or your favorite trekking poles as potential supports.

What size tarp do you recommend for the Breeze Mesh Bivy?

The Breeze Mesh Bivy is specifically designed to pair with our 10-foot by 7/5-foot tapered Sanctuary Siltarp. However, if you prefer a tarp with a bit more coverage and flexibility, then the 10-foot by 8-foot flat Sanctuary Siltarp is also another good option.

All international orders are shipped via DHL Express with all Duties Paid. This means that all import taxes and duties are prepaid. No additional fees will be collected from the customer.

Most international deliveries are made within 4-6 business days, although more remote locations can take a couple of extra days. All international shipments are fully tracked from door-to-door.

If your destination is not listed above, we apologize that we're not able to accommodate direct shipments to you. However, some of our customers have successfully used 3rd party international parcel forwarding services.

What is your return/exchange policy?

We offer 60 days to accommodate any returns or exchanges of non-defective products. In some cases, we can accommodate returns and exchanges past 60 days, but these will be decided on a case-by-case basis. Any returns after 60 days will only be offered store credit.

What items are eligible for a return?

To be eligible for a return and refund, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

If you've purchased a tent or tarp and would like to set it up in your backyard, please do so on a dry, clear day to keep the tent/tarp as clean as possible. Pitch the tent/tarp on dry grass if possible and use other stakes if you have them available. This will keep the tent/tarp and stakes in an unused condition to facilitate a return.

If items sent back for a return/exchange show clear signs of use (excessive dirt, animal hair, etc.), the return/exchange will be rejected and the items will be shipped back.

Are shipping fees refundable?

Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the initial cost of shipping your order (if any) will be deducted from your refund.

Is return shipping free?

No, the cost of return shipping will be subtracted from the refund amount. We will provide a prepaid return label for the return shipment. The cost of return shipping will be provided to you along with the prepaid return label.

Please note that due to our shipping volume, we have access to significantly lower shipping rates than retail. As a result, the cost of the return shipping will be much lower, resulting in a higher refund.

How do I initiate a return/exchange?

To initiate a return/exchange, please email us at support@pariaoutdoorproducts.com with the following information:

  • Your original order number
  • The items to be returned/exchanged
  • The reason for the return/exchange

Once your return/exchange request is received, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label along with the cost of return shipping. This ensures that the shipment will be trackable and insured.

Once the returned items are delivered and inspected (please allow 1-2 weekdays for inspection), we will issue your refund or exchange.

When a refund is processed, a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment and you will receive an email notification. Please allow 2-5 business days for the credit to appear.

Scorpion Cage!

I love camping in the desert and don't often need a tent for protection from the elements. But there are always creepy crawlers wandering around at night. And I hate waking up to them walking across my chest or face, or wedged under me. In my younger adult years I was okay with the occasional sting/bite, but eventually shifted to a tent. Just like a shark cage lets you be safely in the water with danger, the Breeze mesh bivy keeps creepy crawlers and fliers off you during the night.

Mine with bivy, stakes, bag, and small homemade footprint comes in at 18 oz, which is hard to beat especially at $70. And it takes so little space. Once you set it up the first time in your yard/park and get the guy lines cut to the right length and everything dialed in, its easy to set up. The second set up time for me was about 2 min. I suggest putting a sit pad or 1x2ft piece of tyvek/plastic next to the bivy to step on when getting in/out and shoes on/off to keep dirt out. Try it, you'll like it.

Best of my Bivy's.

I LOVE Paria gear. I think this Bivy is awesome....price is uber low and construction is perfect. Super high Bathtub floor and tons of space inside. I have the Tapered tarp as well and the 2 Recharge UL sleeping Pads, a regular and small.....awesome gear and some of the best customer service out there. Love you guy at Paria.

Bathtub floor works great

I’ve used this on several overnights and I am really liking it. I use it with the 10 x 7 x 5 tapered tarp. I sometimes have to camp in lousy sites with compacted soil which are prone to water pooling on the surface and flowing under my tarp. My primary reason for getting the bivy is for the protection provided by the bathtub floor. I've only had it for a couple of months, but I have been through a severe thunderstorm and a drenching rain, and not a drop of water got in. During the drenching rain, I was camped in a bit of a depression and when I broke camp in the morning I saw that water had seeped under the bathtub floor, but inside was completely dry. And I was not even using a ground cloth. This is a minimalist shelter and it takes a bit of practice to get it all setup quickly. When it is pitched under the tarp, you lower the bivy, unzip it (the zipper is on the top), take your shoes off, swing around, raise the bivy up and you are good to go. I saw a review where it was reported that the linelocs were slipping. Mine works perfectly. This has become is my favorite shelter system. During last weekend's trip rain was forecast and I was actually disappointed it didn't rain. Bring it on – I’m ready for it.

Fast, easy and enjoyable

I purchased this a couple of years ago and never got around to trying it out. Took it to the back country last weekend and am sold! Quick and easy to set up, nice small foot print allowing it to be set up almost anywhere and best of all, I could watch the evening approach, stars come out and NO mosquitos, at least indoors. Set up and take down quick! Good work Paria, as with all the other gear I've got of yours.
