Product Description

Finally, a tent designed to be roomy and comfortable while being light enough for your backcountry adventures! Our family of Zion backpacking tents provide all the room and comfort needed for you and your tent mates.

We designed each variant of the Zion with a spacious, rectangular shape that doesn't cheat by tapering on one side.

The Zion 1P is 37-inches wide which will easily fit any one-person sleeping pad and leave plenty of room for other gear.

The 53-inch width of the Zion 2P will fit two 25-inch sleeping pads with room to spare.

Finally, the Zion 3P is the king of space with a width of 70 inches.

Each size offers two side vestibules which are the perfect place for packs and boots. Finally, the two-door design means you can enter and exit with ease and not disturb your tent mates.

We've done our best to make this an outstanding backpacking tent:

  • So light, your back will thank you! The single person Zion 1P has a lightweight trail weight of 3 lbs. 3 oz. The two-person Zion 2P comes in at a trail weight of only 4 lbs. 2 oz. Finally, the three-person Zion 3P provides a ton of space with a trail weight of only 5 lbs. 1 oz. Since the 2P and 3P can easily sleep two or three, you can split the weight and carry just over 2 lbs. per person.
  • All of the high-end features in an affordable package; four spacious mesh pockets, dual vents with kickstands, a pole repair splint, eight Y-stakes with Dyneema guy lines and adjusters, 3,000 mm silicon/PU waterproofing with fully-taped seams, and the list goes on. Why pay more when you can have it all at a much lower price!
  • All three Zion tents offer an ultralight setup! Use only the included footprint, poles and fly to quickly set up a minimalist shelter. Perfect as a weight-saving alternative for when you don't need the protection of a full tent.
  • We used high-quality rip-stop fabrics and aluminum alloy to make sure this tent will last you for years. If you do run into any issues, our outstanding customer service and lifetime warranty will be there to take care of it.

All international orders are shipped via DHL Express with all Duties Paid. This means that all import taxes and duties are prepaid. No additional fees will be collected from the customer.

Most international deliveries are made within 4-6 business days, although more remote locations can take a couple of extra days. All international shipments are fully tracked from door-to-door.

If your destination is not listed above, we apologize that we're not able to accommodate direct shipments to you. However, some of our customers have successfully used 3rd party international parcel forwarding services.

What is your return/exchange policy?

We offer 60 days to accommodate any returns or exchanges of non-defective products. In some cases, we can accommodate returns and exchanges past 60 days, but these will be decided on a case-by-case basis. Any returns after 60 days will only be offered store credit.

What items are eligible for a return?

To be eligible for a return and refund, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

If you've purchased a tent or tarp and would like to set it up in your backyard, please do so on a dry, clear day to keep the tent/tarp as clean as possible. Pitch the tent/tarp on dry grass if possible and use other stakes if you have them available. This will keep the tent/tarp and stakes in an unused condition to facilitate a return.

If items sent back for a return/exchange show clear signs of use (excessive dirt, animal hair, etc.), the return/exchange will be rejected and the items will be shipped back.

Are shipping fees refundable?

Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the initial cost of shipping your order (if any) will be deducted from your refund.

Is return shipping free?

No, the cost of return shipping will be subtracted from the refund amount. We will provide a prepaid return label for the return shipment. The cost of return shipping will be provided to you along with the prepaid return label.

Please note that due to our shipping volume, we have access to significantly lower shipping rates than retail. As a result, the cost of the return shipping will be much lower, resulting in a higher refund.

How do I initiate a return/exchange?

To initiate a return/exchange, please email us at support@pariaoutdoorproducts.com with the following information:

  • Your original order number
  • The items to be returned/exchanged
  • The reason for the return/exchange

Once your return/exchange request is received, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label along with the cost of return shipping. This ensures that the shipment will be trackable and insured.

Once the returned items are delivered and inspected (please allow 1-2 weekdays for inspection), we will issue your refund or exchange.

When a refund is processed, a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment and you will receive an email notification. Please allow 2-5 business days for the credit to appear.

Easy to use, terrific value, great quality tent

We (2 people) have used the 3 person Zion tent for a total of 9 nights over 3 trips. The quality has been great so far, and ease of use is my favorite part! Set up is beyond easy- the engineering behind the single tentpole structure is genius, and the sections of poles nearly assemble themselves. The 3 parts (ground cloth, tent body and fly) fit together intuitively and provide plenty of structure and headroom. We can sit up and play cards in this tent!!! There are many smart inside mesh pockets, including in the corners for glasses and on the ceiling for a light. Every door flap has a way to be rolled back and secured- there are no straps or toggles that I wish for, because the designers thought of everything! It is great without the fly on a warm night. We spent 12 hours in the cold rain along Lake Superior last week, and not a DROP leaked, blew, or soaked in thanks to the bathtub floor and easy to stake fly. Nice ventilation options at the top to prevent condensation or allow a little air flow. The tent is easy to find at night thanks to very reflextive toggle and zipper straps- they light up like an LED when you headlamp catches them. The zippers are not rugged like a canvas tent, but what i would expect, and they zip easily, and if I catch a bit of tent fabric in one, I can gently slide back off the fabric with no harm done. The few times I have abused the zippers, they have been forgiving. The stakes are ultralight, and as expected they are not the strongest material- several have bent when stepping them into rooty ground, and 1 snapped when I attempted to straighten it. A few more stakes would be appreciated, as they do not include enough for all of the tie out lines, but when I emailed, a rep immediatly offered to send me a few more at no charge. (Instead I bought a whole package, as they are not expensive and I wanted the pretty blue ones to match the tent!) The price- at under $200 for a lightweight 3-P tent, I meant for this to be an entry level purchase as we explored back packing. However, I think we have found our gold standard! When split between us, we each carry only 2.5#, which is hard to beat. We are both of *ahem* larger stature (but under 6 feet tall) and use extra wide inflatable mats and quilts. We are very comfortable in the tent, and even put our packs at our feet with no trouble. The vestibules are sufficient for keeping shoes/poles dry, but a little narrow for the packs if raining (and I do use my pack cover to cover my shoes if rain is expected.) As expected, the 3 person claim is a little snug- I think 2 lean adults with mummy bags could fit a third person in, especially a child, but we are not lean adults, which is why we looked for a 3 person tent for 2 of us. We raved about it to 2 different sets of hikers this weekend who asked about our tent. I cannot say enough good things about the tent and the customer service I received!

Great Tent, might have received a previously used item

The tent is fantastic and I'm really happy with my selection. That said, the fly had a stain, the poles a little scratched and the footprint had a small cut/tear. I was willing to overlook the stain because I use my tents pretty hard and it was bound to happen anyway. The cut I didn't notice until in the field, as t which point I just slapped some tenacious tape and moved on. Seems like this tent had a maiden voyage before it got to me, which is a touch disappointing.

1p Love by new backpacker and aging pup

5'2", 110lbs; pup 20" height and length, 32lbs.

Plenty roomy for me, pup, and 60L pack. Double door and double vestibules, easy access to both from inside the tent unlike other 1p that requires walking out and around to access the second vestibule. Brow(?) bar widens the center providing lots of headroom/liveable space, does not feel like it caves in on you at all. Loaned out to 5'7", 130lbs who found it equally roomy. 6', 170lbs found good headroom, not cramped feeling but length was too short when laying down for his liking. Packed the poles and tent body, fly, footprint separate; packs down to a good size. 2 small tablet size pockets at both ends of the tent convenient for some organizing. 37" wide rectangular bathtub floor easily fits a 20" (gray) or 25"(navy) pad. In a pinch can potentially fit two 20" head tapered to 17" feet mummy pads with one turned around without deforming the floor shape but cramped. Picture is a 20" mummy with a 20" half that didn't really tapper.

Took it out twice. Windy but staked out tent did not collapse/deform in on me. No signs of condensation in the mornings. Nothing negative to say, love this tent. Maybe a little heavier but it's a quarter the cost of premium tents that save1.5lbs so I'm ecstatic with this. I'd buy it over and over again but am planning on trying the Bryce next. I appreciate the quality build, complete set with fly and foot print, great living space, double doors at a super budget friendly price point.

Awesome 1P Tent

Very Practical tent. Good craftsmanship and quality at half the price of comparable shelters. Fits my BA long wide sleeping pad with some width to spare.

Oopsies

The Zion 1p is great. Fast set up. Easy zippers. Quality stitching. Exactly what you’d expect. If you are a taller person, I’m 6’4”, its going to be too short. But my son has plenty of room and he will be the primary user. First night was in the snow and no leaks. Vestibules are just right for a full size pack and boots. Easy choice for a great piece of gear.
